When is Opening Day? 2024 MLB season schedule, probable pitchers

The 2024 Major League Baseball regular season began in South Korea on March 20 with a two-game series between the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The opener on the domestic side begins Thursday, March 28, with all 30 teams in action.
The Texas Rangers are the defending World Series champions, but the Dodgers enter the new season as favorites after spending more than a billion dollars this winter on the additions of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
No team has repeated as World Series winners since the New York Yankees from 1998-2000.

The 2024 MLB season began on March 20 with the Dodgers and Padres facing off in Seoul – but Opening Day proper is March 28 with all 30 teams in action.
