Snoop Dogg’s performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics continues to be a slam dunk.
The rapper, who has worn many different hats (and helmets) while covering the Games, gave a golden performance Monday night during the 50th anniversary celebration of USA Basketball.
In videos from the performance, the 52-year-old can be seen sporting a shirt with an image of USA women’s basketball star A’ja Wilson while singing some of his hits, including “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”
Wilson was among the Team USA men’s and women’s basketball players in attendance alongside LeBron James, Diana Taurasi and Stephen Curry. At one point, Snoop brought players, including Brittney Griner, onto the stage to hand out gifts.
And the Celebration of Olympic Basketball didn’t just have current basketball players making an appearance, as retired athletes across many sports—including Dwyane Wade, Sue Bird and even Tom Brady—joined in.
The star-studded event took place ahead of both the men’s and women’s team’s quarterfinal games, on Aug. 6 and 7 respectively, where both teams are hoping to defend their gold medal streak—the fifth consecutive for the men and a dominating eighth for the women.
Though Snoop rocked the house during Monday’s event, it is not the only place he has been dazzling crowds.
“When the lights are on, that’s when I shine the best,” he recently told the Associated Press about his performance covering the Olympics. “This opportunity was nothing but a chance for me to show the world what it’s supposed to look like when you put the right person in the right environment.”
In addition to hanging out with athletes for his role as one of NBC’s primetime correspondents, Snoop has entertained audiences around the world by swimming with Michael Phelps, cheering alongside the families of USA gymnasts, and attending equestrian events with longtime friend Martha Stewart.
And for the TV personality, the Olympics has been the perfect opportunity to let the world see him shine.
“This is the celebration of the finest athleticism ever in the world and he has made it so accessible to everybody,” Martha expressed. “That’s his talent. Everybody loves him.”

Snoop Dogg prepared for his new role as a special NBC Olympics correspondent by making an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with none other than track and field sprinter Noah Lyles' face printed on his T-shirt.
The rapper ran on the track, showing off his Noah shirt and custom bib, on day three of the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Team Trials.
Ahead of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, the correspondent posed alongside fencer Katharine Holmes in matching blue tracksuits at the Team USA Welcome Experience.
Snoop posed in a Polo Ralph Lauren Team USA blazer, fitting right in with the rest of the team.
Snoop traded in his red, white and blue outfits for a medal-worthy appearance at the Prelude to the Olympics party ahead of the opening ceremony, where he stunned in a metallic gold suit.
Dressed in all white, he carried the Olympic flame as one of the final torch bearers ahead of the Olympic Games 2024 opening ceremony.
Snoop returned to his Team USA attire while watching the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Qualifiers on day two of the Olympic Games.
The "Gin and Juice" rapper fanned himself in the stands with tennis player Coco Gauff on his shirt at the Men's Skateboarding Street Finals on day three of the Olympic Games.
Gymnastics star Simone Biles gets more than just a T-Shirt, she gets a whole zip-up jacket. Snoop posted this iconic photo to his Instagram to the song "When Somebody Loves You Back."
Snoop wore beach volleyball star Sara Hughes' face on his zip-up as he cheered them on.
"I had a chance to meet these ladies and fell in love with them, their whole strategic approach as far as their teamwork and how the keep family and sisterhood," he told NBC Sports before the match. "That's so important, and I just love supporting them."
He zipped down his jacket with Sara's face on it to reveal teammate Kelly Cheng's face!
Snoop Dogg and fellow Long Beach, California, native Billie Jean King posed for an iconic photo while watching the second round of men's singles.
