Stellantis is recalling 15,835 Fiat vehicles due to a software error that may cause the front airbags to deploy with excessive force in a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.
The recall includes some Fiat 124 Spider sports cars from model years 2017-2020.
Dealers will update the airbag control module software for free, the NHTSA said..
